About Us

Originally established by Stuart Metcalf in 2001, The Basin Automotive has been providing automotive repairs to our valued customers ever since.

Stuart has over 35 years of experience in automotive repairs, and works alongside Scott (16 years of experience) and Lachlan (our second-year apprentice), who both share his passion for problem solving and automotive repair work. This means we are confident in saying we can help you with any and all mechanical problems you might be having.

We always focus on providing the highest quality workmanship possible, constantly updating diagnostics and repair information, and subscribe to four different technical information services to ensure our customer’s cars are always serviced and repaired correctly, the first time, every time.
